Juggle the World almost halfway to its goal, still seeking support

Tribune staff report

Juggle The World, a soccer startup founded by former South Tahoe soccer standout Leon Abravanel, is in the fourth week of a crowdfunding campaign — and still seeking community support. JTW’s campaign is halfway towards its goal of $15,000, and Abravanel said there is a week left to make up the difference.

Abravanel is seeking to raise $15,000 for the initial inventory of fair trade soccer balls, which it will sell with a “buy one, give one” business model. The crowdfunding campaign is live online at http://www.gofundme.com/juggletheworld. Since Nov. 10, it has raised $7,280 from 57 donations.

Abravanel started Juggle The World in the Los Angeles area and eventually hopes to bring it to Lake Tahoe. For more information about the company, visit http://www.juggletheworld.com — it’s also on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube.
