Lake Tahoe Epic Curling returns to full schedule, hosting open curling Sunday night

Tribune staff report

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — Lake Tahoe Epic Curling, which had limited curling hours throughout the summer, returns to a full schedule beginning this week. The club curls Sunday nights from 6 to 8 p.m. at the SLT Ice Arena in South Lake Tahoe.

Open curling will be available for the next two Sundays, Aug. 9 and 16, for those with prior curling experience. On Sunday, Aug. 23, the club will hold a learn-to-curl night for those who have never tried curling, or who have not curled in a long time and need a refresher. The club provides all necessary equipment.
