Local athletes compete at Mammoth Grand Prix

Tahoe athletes competed in the 2014 Sprint U.S Snowboarding Grand Prix at Mammoth Mountain from Jan. 14-20.

Chas Guldemond, Greg Bretz, and Danny Davis competed for the men. Guldemond competed in slopestyle with scores of 48.80 and 84.60; Bretz competed in halfpipe with scores of 90.60, 93.40 and 87.20; Davis competed in halfpipe with scores of 95.20, 34.20, and 95.00.

Elena Hight, Hannah Teter, and Jamie Anderson competed for the women. Hight competed in halfpipe with scores of 49.60, 84.40, and 63.20; Teter competed in halfpipe with scores of 84.00, 88.40, and 89.40; Anderson competed in slopestyle with scores of 92.80, 94.80, and 96.00.

Hannah Teter, Jamie Anderson, Danny Davis, Greg Bretz, and Chas Guldemond will all represent team USA in the 2014 Olympics beginning on Feb. 6.
