SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — Jean Patrick Datoc pulled off a rare feat on the baseball diamond Saturday, May 14. Datoc produced a game-ending unassisted triple play for the Rockies in a South Tahoe National Little League AAA contest.

Datoc made all three outs himself without any assists from teammates to pull off the rare occurance. The third baseman caught a fly ball for the first out, tagged a runner headed from second to third for the second out, then tagged third base to double off a runner for the last out.

There have been 15 unassisted triple plays in Major League Baseball history, with the last coming in 2009. Datoc and the Rockies won the game 17-11.
