South Tahoe Futbol Club soccer tryouts set for June 21-23
SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — South Tahoe Futbol Club is holding free tryouts for its upcoming 2016-17 club soccer season. Three days of tryouts begin Tuesday, June 21, at South Tahoe Middle School and are open to boys and girls ages 5 to 18.
Tryouts will be held Tuesday through Thursday, June 21-23. Girls sessions will take place from 4:30-6:30 p.m. with boys scheduled after from 6:30-8:30 p.m.
Players should bring cleats, shin guards and water. The club will provide balls, bibs and all other necessary equipment.
STFC is a nonprofit organization that serves youth in the Lake Tahoe Basin wanting to play competitive club soccer — its teams compete in leagues, tournaments and showcases. The club has a nationally licensed coaching staff committed to player development and having fun in a serious environment.
