Vikings selected for senior All-Star game

Three basketball players will represent South Tahoe High School in the 5th annual Senior Boys and Girls All Star basketball game.

Hannah Neiger and Riley Chapman will wear white with teammates from Reno, Bishop Manogue, Wooster, Hug and Galena. Shane Foster from Reno will coach the team. The blue team will be made up of players from Douglas, Reed, Carson, Damonte Ranch, Pershing County and Fallon and coached by Werner Christen.

Jarred Fajman will be the lone Viking playing on the blue team. He’ll play will teammates from Spanish Spring, North Valley, Douglas, Galena and Virginia City. Kyle Penney from Spanish Springs will coach the blue team. Chad Peters from Lowry will coach the white team made up of players from Sparks, McQueen, Lowry, Carson, Damonte Ranch and Bishop Manogue.

The boys game starts at 6 p.m. at Bishop Manogue on Wednesday with the girls game to follow. Tickets are $5 for adults and $3 for students.
