McIntyre makes SaberCats’ roster

Garrett McIntyre has made the San Jose SaberCats’ 24-man regular season roster.

The defending Arena Football League champions made their final cuts earlier this week in preparation for their season opener against Chicago on Monday. The game will be televised by ESPN2.



The former South Tahoe High/Fresno State player missed most of last season with an ankle injury. The second-year defensive lineman is listed at 6-foot-3 and 270 pounds and is the team’s youngest player at 23 and nine months. He wears No. 90.
