Miller wins singles title in city bowling tournament

The 41st City Tournament took place on April 8 and 9 at Tahoe Bowl.

There were four divisions in the tournament: singles, doubles, team and all- events scratch and handicap.

Winning the singles division was David Miller. Taking the doubles division were Don Figeroa and Franz Goepfert. The team event went to Artrageous No. 1, consisting of Kevin Root, Howard Bittner, Tom Otomo and Jim Sterling. The tournament’s all-events handicap champion was Patrick Heath and all- events scratch winner was Franz Goepfert.
