Ponderosa Ridge Run is Saturday
The 33rd annual Ponderosa Ridge run, which traverses some spectacular terrain between Spooner and Kingsbury, is scheduled for Saturday at 10 a.m.
The race starts at the Spooner Summit maintenance station and continues for 9.5 miles along Ridge Road until it ends at Andria Drive near Kingsbury Grade.
Survivor ribbons and drinks will be available at the finish line. Race-day registration is accepted and there is a $2 donation at the start.
Robin Desota won last year’s race in a time of 1 hour, 30 minutes, 54 seconds. Craig Denney, who finished third last year, won the race in 2004. For more information, contact Austin Angell at (530) 541-5224.
