Root, Campbell light up lanes


Our top men’s bowler of the week at Tahoe Bowl is Kevin Root.

Root bowls on the Saw team in the His and Hers League and carries a 182 average. Root connected for games of 177, 234 and 229 for a 640 series.

Root’s consistency on the lanes earned him Shot’s Men’s Bowler of the Week. Great bowling, Kevin.

Our top women’s bowler of the week is Marilyn Campbell. Campbell bowls on the Gambling Fools in the South Tahoe Seniors League and maintains a 132 average. Campbell recorded the highest women’s game of the week with her 219 effort.

Campbell’s performance on the lanes earned her Shott’s Women’s Bowler of the Week. Great bowling, Marilyn.

Special congratulations go to Leonard Buckley, who rolled a beautiful 257 game in the Guys and Dolls League. Great game, Leonard.

Don’t forget Monte Carlo bowling every Friday night starting at 9 p.m. Entry fee is $12.
