Sac State’s last fall home game Saturday

-Staff reports-

Sacramento State’s last home game until March, 2003, pits the Hornets against the San Jose State Spartans this Saturday at 5:15 p.m. at South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena.

The Hornets, 2-3 in the Pacific Coast Hockey Association Standings, currently reside in third place in the Pacific Division. They play all of their home games this year at South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena.

San Jose is last in the Atlantic division at 0-2 with a massive 25 goals against in its two games this year.

The Hornets expect a victory, although team captain Chris Perry said they can’t afford to take the back seat.

The Hornets arranged all of their home games during the beginning and end of the season to work around stormy conditions in Tahoe.

After this Saturday, their next home game is March 14 against the University of San Diego.
