Solid state race for LTCC runner
Lake Tahoe Community College cross-country runner David Reichel had a solid finish in the California Junior College state championships last weekend in Fresno, Calif.
Reichel clocked a time of 23 minutes, 8 seconds over the four-mile course, a 5:47-mile pace good enough for 161st place out of more than 350 participants.
“He ran very well and had and excellent time. It was a good way to finish the season,” said Tahoe coach Terry Adams-Schmidt.
Moorpark took first in the team event with Glendale second.
The race marked the conclusion of the season for the Kokanee. For details on joining the team next year, contact the school at 541-4660.
