South Tahoe girls’ soccer drubs Churchill

Keytie Jacqueline Bravo-Cazares scored two goals and added an assist Monday to lead the South Tahoe Vikings girls’ soccer team to an 8-0 victory over Churchill in Fallon, Nevada.

Seven players scored for the Vikings including Kelsey Hogan, Quinn Simpson, Samantha Frates, Lillie McGuire, Amber Osorio and Lulu Gutierrez.

Recording assists were Hogan, Simpson, Frates, Bailey Segers and Morrison Salmon.

South Tahoe goalie Phoebe Barkann recorded her third straight clean sheet.

The Vikings next play North Tahoe at 4 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 26, at Viking Stadium in their regular season finale.

The Vikings (11-3-1 3A Northern League) sit in third place behind Truckee (13-0-1) and North Tahoe (12-1-1).
