Williams scored eight points in transition to help put the Vikings in front 48-31 after three periods.

South Tahoe, 7-2, led by as many as 27 points in the final quarter.

John Giannoni III chipped in 12 points for the Vikings. McCollum and Tim Sprinkles led STHS with six rebounds each.

Sparks 6-foot-3 senior forward Victor Meza scored a team-high 16 points, while Marshall Hickman tossed in 11.

The Vikings will break for nearly two weeks before making their annual trek to San Diego for the Nike Above the Rim Tournament Dec. 27-31. South Tahoe’s next local game is at Hug on Jan. 4.
