South Tahoe volleyball team loses in three to Wooster
The Vikings’ volleyball team traveled to Wooster Thursday afternoon and lost a heartbreaker in three games with scores of 21-25, 22-25 and 23-25.
South Tahoe coach Janae Ballingham said the Vikings were victims of “inconsistent hitting.”
“This is a talented group of girls but we need to learn how to rely on each other and trust that that person is going to get the ball,” Ballingham said. “We’re still working out the kinds and hopefully we’ll get it together.”
Kim Krouskoupf had 13 kills for South Tahoe and Ballingham credited Michelle Aguilar with “great serve reception.”
“Stephanie Morrow was all over the place,” she added. “She had great control of the ball. She was digging everything, putting everything up.”
The Vikings play Douglas on the road Sept. 23.
