South Tahoe wrestling has successful weekend

The South Tahoe wrestling team competed against 31 other high schools this past weekend at Armijo High School in Fairfield, Calif.

The Vikings took home three medals by each of the three seniors on the team. Robert Hook placed third in 126 pounds, Michael Crandall also placed third at 145 pounds, and Dakota Moss took second in 138 pounds.

The team had stand out performances by Addison Day and Andrew Herrera who both made it to the semifinals.

This weekend, the Vikings will travel to Fernley, Nev., for a two day tournament in preparation for the league tournament which will decide who competes at states.
