Before heading off on an aquatic adventure this season, practice kayak-rolling skills at South Lake Tahoe Recreation and Swim Complex. The complex is offering the chance to practice in a controlled pool environment on a weekly basis beginning Saturday, April 16.

The pool will be open to practice kayak rolling from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Saturdays from April 16 to May 21. There is no instruction available, and those using facility must bring their own kayak — helmets and personal flotation devices are recommended.

Daily facility use fees will apply for this activity: $6 for adults ages 18-54, $5 for seniors 55 years and older and $4 for youth ages 17 and younger. For more information, call the center’s front desk at 530-542-6056.
