Tahoe Grizzlies bantam hockey team finishes with win at Lake Tahoe Invitational

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE — The Tahoe Grizzlies bantam hockey team left the Lake Tahoe Invitational win a win in four games on its home ice. The Grizzlies beat the Las Vegas Flames 9-2 on Sunday, Jan. 17, at South Lake Tahoe Ice Arena, closing out four days of tournament play with a win in the consolation round.

Tucker Cannon scored four goals in Sunday’s win and Adin Burns added a pair as Tahoe skated to a seven-goal victory. The Grizzlies closed out pool play with a 4-4 tie against Las Vegas on Saturday, Jan. 16, after losses to the SDIA Oilers (San Diego, Calif.) and Oakland Bears (Calif.) on consecutive days.

Cannon led Tahoe with 13 goals in four games, including six goals in the Grizzlies’ 10-8 loss to Oakland on Friday, Jan. 15. Burns was second on the team with four.
