Tahoe jumps aboard Olympic ride
by Sam Bauman
Tahoe’s going to the Olympics!
“We’re” going in the person of GS boarder Adam Hostetter, 23,
of Tahoe City.
Hostetter was selected Saturday at Mammoth Mountain in the last
leg of the Bud Lite Snowboard Grand Prix on the basis of his eighth-place
finish at Sugarloaf, his 11th-place showing at Bachelor Mountain
and his third-place performance at Mammoth. His total points put
him on the team.
