Alan Case had 14 points and Casey Dowling added 10 as the South Tahoe Vikings climbed all over Reed, 65-45, on Tuesday in South Lake Tahoe.

The Vikings (4-1) surged to a 32-12 halftime lead and a 26-point advantage after three periods in the nondivision contest.

Adam Williams and Greg Bruso each added nine points while Emelio Beaver had his best outing as a Viking, according to head coach Tom Orlich.

“We jumped on them early and had nice balanced scoring,” Orlich said.

The Vikings travel to Sparks next Tuesday for another nondivision contest. Tahoe hasn’t won at Sparks since 1995. Division play opens Jan. 6 with Hug.
