Whittell alumni soccer game on Friday

Past and present Whittell High girls’ soccer players will participate in an alumni game on Friday afternoon in Zephyr Cove.

New coach Jane Gadbois will direct the 2003 Warriors against an alumni team directed by former coach Mike Leeper.

“It’s more for fun,” Gadbois said. “And it’s a good way to get alumni involved in the program.”

Game time is at 4 p.m. at the Whittell High School field. The game will be followed by a barbecue.

Admission is free.
