Youth basketball league will return

The South Lake Tahoe Parks and Recreation Department will once again be offering a youth basketball program for boys and girls in first through eighth grades.

This program will start on Jan. 11th and run for seven Saturdays at South Tahoe High School. The cost of the program is $35 and each participant will receive a nylon mesh reversible basketball jersey, custom-made personal basketball, free clinics from league director Larry Reilly and seven weeks of league play.

Registration will take place during the month of October at the Recreation Complex, 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd. Space is limited! Watch your school for flyers with specific details.

If you have any questions or are interested in coaching or becoming a sponsor with this program, call John Collins at the City of South Lake Tahoe Recreation Department, at (530) 542-6056.
