US 50 reopens after fatal crash at Cave Rock
UPDATE 10 p.m.
All lanes of U.S. 50 at Cave Rock are now open after a fatal crash Monday.
Nevada Highway Patrol received a report of the wreck at 4:40 p.m. In a tweet sent shortly before 9 p.m., NHP stated the crash had been cleared.
One person died at the scene. A photo taken at the crash shows what appears to be a dark minivan and a four-door sedan, both with extensive damage in the front.
No information on the victim or the injured was released.

ORIGINAL POST: Fatal traffic wreck snarls US 50 at Cave Rock
One person is dead after a head-on collision at U.S. 50 and Cave Rock.
At least one lane of U.S. 50 is open at Caverock tunnel after the fatal crash in the eastbound lanes on Monday.
The Nevada Highway Patrol received a report of the wreck at 4:40 p.m.
No information on the victim or the injured has been released.
