Helicopter crashes at Donner Summit near Truckee

Only minor injuries were reported from the crash on Tuesday, July 11.
A helicopter crash occurred near Donner Summit, according to California Highway Patrol-Truckee, with police responding to the scene late Tuesday afternoon.
The crash resulted in only minor injuries and was not part of efforts to control the Farad Fire.
