One of the last Lake Tahoe resorts to announce an official closing date for the season has finally done so.

Sierra-at-Tahoe will close after Sunday, April 21, according to a Thursday morning announcement. The date is on par with the resort’s usual closing date each year.

Season passes for the following season are on sale now here.

Sierra was one of the last Tahoe-area resorts to announce its official closing date for the 2018-19 season.

Last month Diamond Peak Ski Resort in Incline Village and Homewood Mountain Resort announced they would stay open through April 21.

Squaw Valley plans to operate until July 7, with Friday-Sunday operations in effect after Memorial Day.

Heavenly Mountain Resort will stay open on weekends May 10-12, May 17-19 and May 24-27. The resort initially planned on opening for one additional weekend, May 3-5, after its April 28 closing, but announced several weeks ago it would be extending its season.
