THE LATEST: Middlebrook, Bass and Wallace lead early in race for South Lake Tahoe City Council

EDITOR’S NOTE: These are early numbers from the first round of election results released by the El Dorado County Elections Department. This will be updated as results are updated.
In the first round of preliminary election results, all three incumbents seeking reelection on South Lake Tahoe’s City Council find themselves on the outside looking in.
Leading in the first round of results are Devin Middlebrook, Cody Bass and Tamara Wallace.
And on Measure T, the “Yes” vote has a very narrow lead.
Assistant City Clerk Susan Blankenship currently is winning in the race for city clerk.
Turnout so far in South Lake Tahoe is at 26.6 percent.
