SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – After the unexpected death of local resident Levi Goodale, the GoFundMe supporting his fiancée is approaching its $60,000 goal.

Goodale died suddenly on January 21, leaving his fiancée Kimberly Harding and his son Greyson. His obituary stated that his greatest motivation was his son, and his GoFundMe page says, “(Kimmy and Greyson) were his world, his purpose, and his greatest joy. Every plan he made, every hard day he pushed through, was for them.”

Goodale’s death was also felt by his community members. “He had a heart of gold and would drop everything for anyone at any time. If you needed help, Levi was there, no questions asked. His kindness, loyalty, and willingness to truly show up for others left a lasting impact on everyone who was lucky enough to know him,” says his GoFundMe.

The funds will be used to help handle funeral arrangements, travel costs and immediate costs of caring for Greyson during a difficult time. “If you are able to donate, share, or keep this family in your thoughts and prayers, it would mean more than words can express. Thank you for helping us honor Levi’s love, kindness, and unwavering devotion to his family,” reads the message.

As of this story’s publication, the GoFundMe is 95% of its way to its goal and has raised $56,403. You can donate to the family at https://gofund.me/cfd5962a0.
