South Shore sales professionals

Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority

On Thursday, December 11, 30 South Shore’s sales professionals joined the Lake Tahoe Visitors Authority for their Holiday Sales Gathering, held at the Golden Nugget Lake Tahoe. The Golden Nugget provided an excellent spread of heavy appetizers, a hot chocolate bar, a Gingerbread House building contest, and Golden Nugget staff also shared about the extensive renovations that the property is undergoing. LTVA provided local updates and thank you gift for those in attendance. This annual event is an opportunity to give back to the community, and this year, attendees gave generously, contributing cash and food to make a meaningful difference for families supported by Christmas Cheer All Year, and donating toys to help bring joy and smiles to children through Toys for Tots.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for your generosity and compassion. Because of you, hope, kindness, and holiday spirit are being shared far beyond the season. Thank you for making an impact.

With the help of dedicated volunteers from the South Tahoe Association of REALTORS® Young
Professionals Network (STAR YPN) and generous sponsors from our membership and the community, we were able to deliver nearly 180 holiday gifts today to Executive Director Jude Wood at Boys & Girls Club of South Lake Tahoe, benefiting 79 children.

The Annual Wish Tree project began as a way for our local association of REALTORS® to partner with and support Boys & Girls Club. Once upon a time, there was a “tag tree” with just a few names. It has grown into a larger project with a commitment to ensure every child on Boys & Girls Club’s Jude Wood’s list receives the 2 gifts they’re wishing for! Sponsors choose a child’s name and their wishes, shop for gifts and bring them to our oƯice where the list is double checked before everything is delivered to Boys & Girls Club in time for distribution to all of the children or their families before the school holiday break.

For some of these families, these could be the only gifts under the tree. Each year we’re heartened to see how the community comes together to ensure that the children in these families don’t go without.

You helped 79 kids have a better holiday this year. We’re incredibly grateful that you chose to be holiday elves and helped make their wishes come true!
