Tahoe Knight Monsters, Zawyer Sports and Entertainment mourns loss of account executive
The Tahoe Knight Monsters and Zawyer Sports and Entertainment mourn the loss and express their condolences to the family and friends of Tahoe Knight Monsters Account Executive Alex Schumacher, who passed away on Saturday night.

“Alex always shared his large personality and was the first person to offer his help,” Knight Monsters Senior Vice President of Sales Anthony Benge said. “Whether it was taking Tessie to schools or helping groups celebrate at games, Alex took pride in creating memories every day for families and friends of the Tahoe community. He lives on with every smiling fan of the Knight Monsters.”
Alex joined the Knight Monsters in April of 2024, connecting local companies to the Knight Monsters through corporate sponsorships and serving as a group leader for numerous Knight Monsters fans throughout Tahoe’s inaugural season.
Away from the rink, Alex loved live music more than anything, hanging out with his dog, Ruby, and enjoyed going to the movies.
Please help us support Alex’s family in this unimaginable time by donating to his GoFundMe.
