SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe (BGCLT) will host a Club Job Fair on Saturday, August 8, 2026, from 2 to 5 p.m. at the Angel of Tahoe Clubhouse. The Club is hiring Youth Development Professionals for all six sites in Meyers, South Lake Tahoe, and Zephyr Cove.

Youth Development Professionals lead engaging, high energy programs for an assigned age group (TK, elementary, or middle school) at their assigned Club site. This part-time, after-school role covers everything from sports and STEM to homework and the arts. Hours run Monday through Friday, between 12 and 6 p.m., with up to 29 hours a week during the school year and up to 40 hours a week during school vacations. 

Job perks include earned time off, paid holidays and sick leave, and retention and referral bonuses. Pay ranges from $23-27 per hour, depending on experience. Applicants must be 18 years old, hold a high school diploma (or equivalent), and have a passion for working with children.

It’s meaningful work, and it strengthens our entire community.”

Walk-ins are welcome to the Club Job Fair on Saturday between 2-4 p.m. No reservation is required. All participants should bring a resume and list of references, and expect to stay until 5 p.m. 

After the job fair, all selected applicants must attend a job training on Tuesday, August 11 from 1 to 5 p.m.. The job will then resume on Monday, August 17.
