STATELINE, Nev. – South Lake Tahoe Mayor Cody Bass has been sentenced to 10 days, starting immediately, in Douglas County Jail and 35 suspended days in jail, during a sentencing hearing on Tuesday morning.

The jail sentence was in regard to a harassment conviction for an incident that occurred at the Tahoe AleWorx in Stateline in September 2025.

Bass’ representative Adam Spicer asked that the jail sentence start after Bass’ term in office is up in three months but Judge Richard Glasson sentenced him to begin serving his time immediately.

The 35 suspended days are in place for the next two years. Bass must avoid any businesses from the Courthouse located off Kahle Drive to the California state line. He must also stay sober, including alcohol and marijuana and will be subjected to testing.
