SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. — Fall is coming to the mountains, and SunSnow Event Company is bringing back the Meyers Mountain Fall Festival for its third year on Saturday, October 10 and Sunday, October 11, 2026, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. each day at Tahoe Paradise Park.

The two-day celebration will feature live music, local food and artisan vendors, seasonal activities, pumpkins from Corley Ranch, a beer and wine garden, family-friendly entertainment and plenty of opportunities to enjoy the sights, flavors and traditions of fall.

The idea for the festival was born from a simple desire: to bring a little bit of Apple Hill to South Lake Tahoe.

“We love the tradition of heading down the hill to Apple Hill every fall, but we wanted to create something closer to home where our Tahoe community could experience that same feeling,” said Kree Abravanel, founder and Market General Manager of SunSnow Event Company. “We wanted to bring that quintessential fall atmosphere— the pumpkins, the food, the local makers, the music and a place for families and friends to spend the day together—right here to South Lake Tahoe.”

A Weekend Celebrating Fall in the Mountains

The Meyers Mountain Fall Festival is designed to capture the spirit of a classic fall harvest celebration while showcasing the small businesses, artists, musicians and community organizations that make the Tahoe region special.

Festivalgoers can browse a variety of artisan and specialty vendors, farm-fresh produce, enjoy food and seasonal treats, pick out pumpkins from Corley Ranch, and take part in family-friendly activities throughout the weekend.

The festival will also feature a beer and wine garden, with beer from South Lake Brew Co. and Crystal Basin Cellars pouring wine and offering bottles for purchase to take home.

For families, the weekend will include a dedicated kids’ craft area, bounce houses, inflatable axe throwing, corral games, the festival’s popular pie-eating contest (Saturday), and the return of the Halloween costume contest (Sunday).

Live Music Both Days

Music will be a major part of the weekend, with four Tahoe-area acts performing across Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday, October 10

• 11:30am – 2pm: Ash Relics and Friends
• 2:30pm – 5:30pm: Broken Compass Bluegrass

Sunday, October 11

• 11:30am – 2pm: Bison
• 2:30pm – 5:30pm: Mescalito

With live music running throughout the afternoon, attendees can grab a drink, enjoy some food and settle in for a laid-back fall afternoon at Tahoe Paradise Park.

Building a Tahoe Fall Tradition

The Meyers Mountain Fall Festival is produced by SunSnow Event Company, a South Lake Tahoe-based 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to creating affordable community events that support local farmers, artisans, musicians, small businesses and community organizations.

SunSnow also produces the Meyers Mountain Market, Ski Run Farmers Market and Music in the Park, bringing thousands of people together throughout the year to shop, eat, listen to music and support local businesses.

“We’re really excited to see this event becoming its own Tahoe fall tradition,” said Abravanel. “There are so many wonderful things about fall in this region, and we want the festival to be a place where people can slow down, enjoy the season and celebrate the community around them.”
