Robert “Bob,” “Robie” Roberson (1936-2026) passed away peacefully in the Guardian Angel assisted living facility in Post Falls ID, on May 24, following a steady health decline.He is survived by his daughter, Ruthie Roberson of Clear Lake CA, his brother Bill Roberson of Oakland CA, nieces Kimberly and Marika, and grandnieces and grandnephew.
Bob was an engaged member of the South Lake Tahoe Community where he was a beloved teacher at South Lake Middle school for many years. He loved fishing with his pals and boating on the Lake. He built his own A-Frame house in Christmas Valley at the foot of Echo Summit. He played softball on the local team. He loved teasing and delighted in catching you off-guard, all in fun and with love. He and his love of life, the late Mary Lynne, traveled the US, camping on the seashores and in the Wilderness they loved.
A Gathering of Remembrance will be held at 11:00 AM, September 13, in the Rotary Gazebo in Bijou Community Park, South Lake Tahoe.
