SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe announced that Station House Inn has made a generous $10,285 donation in support of the Club and Tahoe Youth.

“The Club is so excited to accept this donation from Station House Inn through Play Park Hospitality, the management group behind the family-friendly South Lake Tahoe hotel, to support our Tahoe kids,” said Aimi Xistra, Director of Development at the Club. “This relationship has reached the next level with this contribution, and we look forward to additional support in the future.”

Station House Inn’s history with the Club began three years ago as a valued lodging partner for Tahoe Brewfest, one of BGCLT’s signature annual fundraisers. This recent contribution from the Playpark Hospitality property group represents their commitment to our Tahoe community and youth.

“This donation reflects what we believe hospitality should be about: creating a positive impact in the places we call home,” said Mitchell Murray, CEO of Playpark Hospitality. “Through Stay With Purpose, every stay at our Lake Tahoe hotels helps support local organizations making a real difference. We’re proud for Station House Inn to partner with the Club and invest in the future of this community.”

The Stay With Purpose program was launched in collaboration with MOD Movement, a purpose-driven organization focused on creating meaningful impact in underserved communities by providing funding, resources, education, mentorship, and pathways to opportunity.

“We’re intentional about partnering with organizations that align with our mission and values,” said Whitney Ramsey, Co-Founder of MOD Movement. “Our collaboration with the Boys & Girls Club of Lake Tahoe is especially meaningful because of their dedication to mentorship and their ability to create real, lasting change—one child at a time.”

Station House Inn is part of Playpark Hospitality, a collection of boutique Lake Tahoe hotels that includes The Jeffrey Hotel and Firelite Lodge. Most recently, Playpark acquired the former Holiday Inn Express on Lake Tahoe Boulevard and is transforming it into HiMark Hotel, a wellness-focused property undergoing a multi-million-dollar renovation through 2028. Through Playpark’s Stay With Purpose program, a portion of every reservation supports local nonprofits and community efforts.
