Workshop to focus on Internet marketing

SOUTH LAKE TAHOE, Calif. – The Tahoe Chamber of Commerce and Tahoe Tactical Team are partnering to host a Business Coaching Workshop focusing on Internet marketing from 8:30-10 a.m., Jan. 6, at Lake Tahoe Community College, Creekside Room. This free workshop will answer questions about Social Media and address the value of Search Engine Optimization.

Guest speaker Missy Potalivo is the Owner, Chief Publisher of Social Sense Marketing, a social media marketing firm. Potalivo, will provide insight to social media strategies that have a positive impact on the long term viability of a business. She will explain what social media marketing is, how it can help a business, why it is important to build a brand through social media and what social outlets are best for a business.

Guest speaker Anthony Howard leads the Search Engine Optimization team at Howard SEM Group. With more than seven years experience, Howard has worked closely with a wide variety of businesses and industries to helping them compete with today’s top internet leaders. Howard will attest to the values of search engine optimization and a diversified Internet marketing campaign.

Following this presentation, members of the Tahoe Tactical Team will be on hand to answer questions regarding their free coaching services available to local businesses. This business coaching program is provided via a partnership with the City of South Lake Tahoe.
