What an amazing and special day on the water with Tahoe Cruises! Our boat, Spirit of Tahoe, hosted our Sierra House Special Day Class students on an unforgettable educational tour of Lake Tahoe on May 20. Captain Cary, First Mate David, crew member Judy, and Director of Operations, Chris Neira welcomed and made them feel comfortable and safe.
For many of these students, it’s their first time ever on a boat. They have been looking forward to this trip all week. We also got the chance to learn more about this beautiful place we call home. Although we didn’t see Tahoe Tessie we did see Ospreys! First mate, David Sr. (who is the father of one of the students) even gave the kids a chance to drive the boat! We can’t thank the Spirit of Tahoe enough for this memorable opportunity. It was an incredible experience that will last a lifetime.
Also a big shout out to our bus driver, Aaron who took us safely from Sierra House to the Marina and back!
