Truckee-Tahoe – Pet of the Week: Denny

Submitted to the Tribune
Denny is this week's Pet of the Week.
Provided

The Ultimate Tahoe Adventure Buddy! Looking for a loyal hiking partner, a snuggle buddy, and a social butterfly all rolled into one? Meet Denny, a sweet and soulful pup who’s ready to find his forever home!

Denny may be a little shy at first, but with a bit of patience, some playtime, and a few strolls through the woods, he quickly blossoms into a confident and affectionate companion. Once he feels safe, his cuddly side shines, he’ll happily curl up next to you for snuggles or quietly hang out with a toy by your side.

On a recent field trip, Denny proved he’s the whole package. He rode calmly in the car, then powered through a four-mile hike with enthusiasm and curiosity, sniffing everything along the way. He showed great manners on the trail, easily redirecting when critters caught his attention, and behaved like a pro when passing other dogs and even a coyote!

After the hike, Denny loved relaxing in the grass with his stuffed toy, showing he’s just as happy kicking back as he is being active. During a visit to a bustling outdoor café, Denny was curious and excited to meet everyone; people, kids, and dogs alike. He greeted everyone with tail wags and leaned in for love, clearly eager to make friends wherever he goes.

Denny is athletic, affectionate, and incredibly social. He gets along well with other friendly dogs and is sure to thrive in a home that offers him adventure, affection, and a place to belong.

Come meet Denny and see for yourself, he’s ready to give his whole heart to the person or family who gives him the loving life he deserves. Denny is more than adoptable, he’s unforgettable. Denny is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. If you are interested in meeting this big-hearted bundle of joy, or to learn more about him, please reach out to one of HSTT’s Adoption Specialists at 530-587-5948 or adoptions@hstt.org.
