Lake Tahoe Community College Foundation will host its annual Taste of Gold fundraiser on Saturday.

Guests will be able to sample wines from a number of El Dorado County wineries, including Colibri Ridge, Lava Cap and Nello Olivo. There will also be a silent auction and raffle.

The event is the biggest fundraiser of the year for the foundation. Proceeds support academic program and student scholarships and achievement.

Taste of Gold will be held from 6-9 p.m. at the college’s Ledbetter Terrace and Demonstration Garden. Tickets cost $75 per person, and can be purchased by contacting Marty Green at 530-541-4660, ext. 753, or foundationassistant@ltcc.edu.
